I’ve been a regular visitor to Brixham for 6 years, since my ex wife and 2 daughters moved there from London. Lesley and her property this week became the very best place we’ve stayed in all that time. The property itself is absolutely lovely, a great garden too, perfect parking etc. What has put this particular Airbnb to number one in my mind is of course all the above but not that alone. Lesley the host really takes the most amazing care with the most wonderful touches. I’m not going to list all the things Lesley done for us as I don’t want to set the bar too high for her in the future. That said Lesley went so far out of her way for us, she left things for my whole family, including our dog! Amazing. I was there with my son, my 2 daughters, my mum and our dog, we had the best stay ever. The property itself is also totally first class, extremely well equipped, beautifully presented and totally deserving of 5 stars. Thank you so much Lesley for a really great stay.

  We stayed for 3 nights at Rosedale cottage. It really is a home from home as described. The cottage was so clean and cosey with everything we needed! Lots of little touches really made us feel at home. Close to Brixham town just a 5 minute drive away. Lesley was lovely and responsive at all times. We would love to return and will be soon hopefully! Thankyou :) x 

 What a beautiful few days we've just spent at Rosedale Cottage. We travelled from Ireland with our 80 year old Dad and such a treat awaited us. A beautiful restful cottage so kindly restored to modern day living and yet respectful of its age. Everything you could need in one place. The attention to detail is impeccable. We all slept so well and loved every minute of our stay. Go raibh míle maith agat Lesley agus Richard. Slán Agus Beannacht. 

We stayed at Lesley’s place for 6 nights. Lesley was a super responsive host from the start and gave us lots of recommendations on what to do. The cottage was wonderfully presented and spacious with a great garden to relax in. There were also lots of thoughtful little touches as we had a toddler and dogs with us and there were toys, a high chair and dog treats. We had such a lovely week and would definitely recommend staying here! 

 An absolutely wonderful house to stay in, beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained. Lesley went above and beyond to tailor our welcome to our weekend plans at the pirate festival, a lovely personal touch. She was Incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. If we were in the area again we would definately stay here again!! 

 We had a great time, the house was very cozy and beautifully decorated for our Christmas away. we will have fond memories of our time at the cottage and loved every minute. thanks so much to Richard and Leslie for making this a fantastic Christmas for our family x

This cottage is absolutely perfect, it’s not just a holiday home it’s a home from home, all the amenities you could need right down to salt/vinegar/brown sauce! Everything! It’s clean, quirky, spacious, perfect for families, friends or couples. Bus stop right outside if you don’t want to drive or walk into Brixham. Lots of information on the local area and ideas for local walks, loved our stay here

We recently spent a great four day break at Rosedale Cottage with friends.

It’s in an ideal location to explore Brixham and surrounding areas.  A really beautiful and spotless accommodation where everything has been thought through with care.  It also has the quality of making you feel like you are on holiday but also at home – everything is catered for in terms of comfort as well as having fun; to a morning coffee on the patio, a cosy fire or a drink in the cute bar area in the dining room listening to the juke box.

Lesley is the perfect host and could not do more to communicate all the important information we needed as well as making us all feel so welcome. Thank you.

 We have just returned from a fantastic Christmas spent at Rosedale Cottage. Lesley has kept us well informed throughout. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the interior design is spot on. The cottage is even more impressive than the listed photos. We were very grateful for all of the little touches, it was like staying in a home away from home. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10/10 

 We went to Rosedale cottage as a family of 4 and we went with another family of 4. The house was plenty big enough to fit and accommodate us all. The decor was outstanding, really stylish. It was a real home from home feel, they had everything and more that we needed. There’s only one thing that was missing for us and that was a BBQ. Lesley had left very thoughtful welcome gift for us, which was extremely appreciated and the kids loved the bucket and spades. The garden was fantastic because it was all enclosed so we knew the kids couldn’t get out, which as a parent is a must. Lesley has been amazing with her communication leading up to and during our holiday. We loved Brixham and the harbour was so beautiful. We loved crabbing and had a boat trip to Torquay. We were lucky to see the seals in the harbour 3 times. Broad sands and Goodrington were great Sandy beaches for the kids. We had the best holiday and would love to go back.
