Gem of a Cottage
Wow! What an absolute gem of a cottage! If you’re thinking about booking just do it. Location is perfect, close enough to walk to the marina but just outside enough to be peaceful. The cottage itself is spotless, high spec and the most cosiest place we’ve stayed. Lesley was absolutely a pleasure to deal with, responsive, helpful and went above and beyond for my Dad’s 70th birthday. There were some lovely touches that I won’t mention here so as not to burden Lesley to have to do that for all guests but it really was such a nice thing to do, thanks Lesley! We will be back! ad the most wonderful week at Rosedale Cottage. The newly renovated en-suite is stunning and the location is just a short stroll from the harbour. Our dog Bertie loved every minute — the welcome pack for him was such a lovely touch. We'll definitely be back!

A fantastic cottage, well worth a visit. Lesley is a brilliant host - responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Everything is exactly as you’d hope from the photos and the cottage contains everything you need to make it a home from home. There is a bus stop right outside, and another around the corner but you can walk straight into Brixham in about 25 mins. The garden is a peaceful haven to escape in, at all times of the day. Everything was spotlessly clean and it smelt delightful when we arrived. Lovely welcome touches for both humans and dogs! I would happily visit again and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing, welcoming place to stay.

Perfect Stay
We had a perfect stay at Rosedale Cottage with our grown up children and our grandchild. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s a very well equipped house and very homely with everything you could want from a home from home. Location was great for us. Nearby Spar very handy. Lesley is a great host and was very helpful and responsive.

Wow factor!
Well where do i start we have just returned from 2 amazing weeks in rosedale cottage!! As soon as we arrived it was a wow factor then it just got better and better. Lesley is an amazing host and so easy to approach with any worry`s or concerns before and also during our stay. While we were at rosedale cottage we celebrated our first borns 16th birthday and also our wedding anniversary Lesley had very kindly got my daughter a gift and us a bottle of prosecco. The cottage had so many little added extras that you don`t usually get. The garden was just gorgeous and we loved having a drink or 2 outside in an evening and my son loved serving drinks at the bar 📷 I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we will deffo return at some point x

Beautifully Decorated
We had such an amazing time at our holiday at Rosedale Cottage in July 2026. The cottage is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. There is plenty of off-street parking for two good sized cars.
We really enjoyed the quiet location; it’s only a 25 min walk to Brixham harbour with all the lovely bars and restaurants on hand, plus the nearby hidden welcoming gem of the Bell Inn. If you do venture to the harbour, treat yourself to an amazing sea adventure with Mr Fish. Highlight of the holiday for us, and kindly recommended by the ever-helpful and friendly Lesley.
The garden of the property of the cottage is a delight, with lots of great spots to catch the sun. The BBQ area is great fun to hang about and have a drink on the bar stools while somebody pulls the short straw to do the grilling.
Inside the property the showers were of excellent quality, and the rooms spacious and comfortable. We can’t wait to return one day, hopefully soon.
