Our Story

Rosedale Cottage is a beautiful quirky home dating back to the 1700`s.  

It was originally a thatched cottage but has been modernised over the centuries and unfortunately no longer has a thatched roof but has retained lots of the original features. which include open fire places and is now painted in its original colour of pink!

Rosedale has been sympathetically refurbished and whilst there are now all the expected mod-cons, the charm and warmth of the cottage remain.

It has a home from home feel which is lovely for summer holidays and especially cosy during winter stays with the log burner lit.

Spacious for multi generational stays but equally cosy for 2.

We have owned the cottage for 10 years and over this time, numerous renovation works have taken place and we continue to sympathetically modernise it, taking great care and consideration for the cottage not to loose it`s charm and warm and inviting feeling. - I think we have succeeded as many guests tell us "they do not want to leave".
